Part of the “Lifelong Learning in the Biomedical Sciences” webinar series.

Hilde Stevens and Michel Goldman will be panelists for this webinar.

Irrespective of their specific role in the healthcare system of the future and whether they operate in public institutions or private companies, physicians and other healthcare providers, research scientists, managers, regulators and policy makers need adequate knowledge on the continuum path, from basic research to preclinical and clinical research, and ultimately patient-centric care. They also have to develop the skills necessary to address organizational, business and management issues in this complex sector.

With this background, the I3h Institute of the Université libre de Bruxelles develops an innovative educational program that aims at preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals and fostering collaboration between public and private stakeholders.

Michel Goldman, former executive director of the Innovative Medicines initiative, and Hilde Stevens, Baillet Latour Chair in translational medicine, will present the content of the program, the hurdles to overcome for its set-up, and the inclusive teaching strategies and methods needed to reach the learning objectives.
