Opinie Wetenschap

Steven Van Gucht e.a.

Far more than just entertainment, the game provided an insightful journey, illustrating the critical path a medication must follow before it becomes available to patients.

Throughout this playful session, we encountered various real-world scenarios, challenges, and decision-making processes that academic and SME innovators face daily. Repurpolis vividly highlights how essential strategic planning, regulatory knowledge, and teamwork are in successfully bringing treatments from the lab to the patient.

By simulating the hurdles encountered in drug repurposing, we learned valuable lessons about avoiding common pitfalls and streamlining processes to make treatments accessible faster and more efficiently.

Games like Repurpolis aren’t just fun—they offer an innovative approach to education, helping us better appreciate the complexity and importance of drug repurposing in healthcare innovation.

Stay tuned as we continue exploring interactive and impactful ways to enhance understanding of critical healthcare topics!
